In addition to the big winter and summer supplies, travel
agents can order extra copies at any point in time. Travel
agents can log in via our online web platform Connect2,
that was designed in-house, and select the brochure
they want. It is then the tour operator who has to decide
whether the travel agent may receive the quantity
requested. “This interim stage is also completely digital,”
explained Wim Sleurs, Planning and Stock Management
Manager. “When we know what may be delivered to
which travel agent, we set up a planning. A software
system defines which shipment the requested brochures
should go in. The travel agents can check for themselves
when they can expect delivery. Delivery notes are created
automatically so that each driver knows what shipments
he or she has to deliver.” More than 96% of the re-orders
are currently processed via this online system.
